Cameron Named IMSA Diverse Driver Development Scholarship Finalist

The International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) announced seven finalists for the second annual IMSA Diverse Driver Development Scholarship. Cameron Parsons was named as one of the finalists, among others who all bring unique and varied backgrounds to this program. The scholarship is valued at more than a quarter million dollars, put toward a season of competition in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, or IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge in 2023.

In order to be considered for this scholarship, entrants had to show their drive and interest in competing in IMSA, excellent previous racing experience, and the ability to put together an effective business plan to help them secure the remaining funding needed to compete in a full season for 2023. Cameron is currently piecing together his plan during this final phase of the scholarship winner selection. He is currently seeking additional support to strengthen his business plan submission, to build an effective 2023 season for this diverse driver initiative and to the benefit of all partners that come aboard.
